About the organization

The Chico State American Marketing Association is one of the largest business organizations on campus. Our chapter has been around for over 20 years and has won many awards including being named one of the top chapters in the country. The AMA is a great resume builder and can offer you experiences that you cannot gain in the classroom. Whether advertising, business sustainability, community service, public speaking or event planning, the AMA has a project for you. The AMA is also great for networking. You will network with other motivated students and AMA alumni, as well as professionals and recruiters who may present potential job offers or internships! Furthermore, if you participate as an active member, you may have the opportunity to be selected to go to New Orleans in April to represent our chapter at the 32nd Annual International Collegiate Conference. Overall, everyone needs to learn how to market themselves, and the AMA is a great way to Enhance Your Brand and build yourself professionally in a fun, interactive way outside the classroom.
